When official data is unavailable for a specific metric, we clearly mark it as estimated and indicate the confidence level on the individual slot page. Our data confidence scoring system rates each slot's data completeness on a 0-100 scale.
Scoring Methodology
Zone List Slot's proprietary metrics are calculated algorithmically from raw game data. No metric is subjective or editorially influenced.
Value Score (0-100)
A composite metric combining RTP, volatility, and maximum win potential into a single number. Higher scores indicate a more favorable mathematical profile for the player. The weighting prioritizes RTP (as the most reliable long-term indicator), followed by win potential and volatility balance.
Risk Index (1-10)
Measures bankroll volatility risk. Derived from the slot's volatility rating and maximum win multiplier. Higher values indicate larger potential bankroll swings per session. Useful for matching slots to your risk tolerance.
Win Potential (1-10)
Rates the theoretical upside of a slot based on maximum win multiplier relative to the market. Normalized against all 793 slots in our database to provide a relative ranking.
Bankroll Rating (1-10)
Estimates session sustainability. Combines RTP and inverse volatility to indicate how long a typical bankroll will last. Higher ratings suggest more sustainable play sessions.
Comparative Analysis
Each slot page includes "vs Market" and "vs Provider" comparisons. Market averages are calculated across all 793 slots. Provider averages are calculated per-provider. These benchmarks update with every site rebuild to reflect the current database state.
Percentile Rankings
Percentile positions (e.g., "Top 3%") are calculated by ranking all slots on a given metric and determining where each slot falls in the distribution. A slot in the "Top 5%" for Value Score means it outperforms 95% of all analyzed slots on that metric.
Content Generation
Slot descriptions, gameplay summaries, and unique mechanic breakdowns are sourced from provider documentation and enriched with structured data analysis. Insight cards are generated algorithmically based on how each slot's metrics compare to market and provider averages.
What We Don't Do
Zone List Slot is an analytics platform, not a casino. We do not process real-money transactions, store payment information, or operate any gambling services. When we link to third-party operators, those links are clearly marked as sponsored. Our analytics and rankings are never influenced by commercial relationships.
Update Frequency
The database is rebuilt daily with fresh timestamps. When new slot data becomes available, it is processed through our full analytics pipeline — normalization, derived metrics, comparative analysis, and content generation — before being published.
